Bay Window Reading Nook
A bare bay-window living room reimagined as a sunlit reading corner — built-in joinery, layered textures, and a generous bouclé chair turn dead corners into the heart of the home.

A London-based architect blending rigorous conservation craft with considered space optimisation and layouts. From listed buildings to private homes, every project begins with how a space should feel — and ends with how it quietly endures.

The Architect
I'm Aishwarya — a qualified architect with a master's in Conservation & Regeneration from CEPT University. I've spent my career working at the intersection of built heritage and contemporary living, including leading conservation work on India's Parliament Building, the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor in Varanasi, and Gandhi Ashram.
Since 2023 I've been based in London, practising within a specialized UK conservation studio. That dual grounding in Indian architectural heritage and British practice gives me a genuinely rare lens on how spaces should feel.
Today I run a design space studio focused on space optimisation and layouts — translating an architect's thinking into homes that are properly considered, from structure to surface.

An empty box room reimagined as a calm, light-filled sanctuary — a sculptural kentia palm softens the corner, layered cream and blush linens warm the bed, and quiet botanical accents give the space its own gentle character.

Why Work With Me
I don't just see surfaces — I see the bones. An architect's eye means proportions, flow, and light are considered from the very first sketch.
Years conserving India's most important buildings taught me to listen to what a space wants to be, not impose upon it.
Trained in India, practising in London — I bring an international design vocabulary that blends material richness, warmth, and contemporary British restraint.
This is a boutique practice. You work directly with me throughout — every project gets the same care I'd bring to my own home.
How It Works
01
Send an enquiry with a little about your project. I'll review it and we'll arrange a short introductory call to discuss fit, scope, and timeline.
02
I immerse myself in your brief, your space, and your references. Then I present a clear concept — mood boards, palette, spatial direction.
03
We move from concept into detail: material selections, furniture specifications, technical drawings, and supplier recommendations.
04
I hand over a complete design package — or manage the full implementation on your behalf.
Due to high demand, next available appointments from June. Book early to secure your slot.
